Epoxy was the go-to garage floor for decades, and for a budget indoor space with no sunlight, it still has its place — we're upfront about that. But for a floor that lives with Houston heat, hot tires, and daily use, epoxy has real weaknesses.
Our polyurea and polyaspartic system was engineered to fix every one of them — it stays flexible and bonds into the slab so it won't crack or peel, the polyaspartic topcoat shrugs off hot tires and sunlight without yellowing, and the whole system cures fast. Here's how the two stack up:

Wait — "polyurea" vs "polyaspartic"?
They're in the same family — polyaspartic is a refined type of polyurea. We use polyurea for the base because it grips the concrete and stays flexible, and polyaspartic on top because it adds the UV stability and hard-wearing finish. Base and topcoat, each doing what it does best. That's the whole secret.
Color, texture, and grip — broadcast by hand.
The look of your floor comes from the flake. Once the base coat is down, we hand-broadcast decorative vinyl chips across the entire surface until it's fully covered, then seal them under the clear polyaspartic. The result isn't just good-looking — the flake adds a subtle texture that hides minor slab imperfections and gives you natural slip resistance.
Full-flake broadcast is standard on every floor. Ask about custom blends and an optional anti-slip additive for wet areas, ramps, and patios.
